The genre that we have decided to do this year is a thriller. We chose this as we have already done thrillers before and they are the easiest to make as you do not need special effects to look impressive.

The use of darkness to create suspense
Usually set in a town or city
Dead bodies-Don't really get to see the death
Rain/bad weather
Alone to show vulnerability
Eerie music
Obsession
These are a few of the many conventions. Knowing these we can use some of them to make our film.
